Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas! We like to get together on Christmas Eve and have a fondue. This gives us lots of time to talk about our times spent together and reminds us how thankful we are for our family.

On Christmas Eve my sons and I drive through the area admiring the Christmas-decorated yards. It's just a fun time for us.

I am not sure if we have any real traditions but traditionally I make holiday cards and make some presents. I bought myself sponge candy dipped in chocolate which is one of my traditions!
thanks for a chance to win a fabulous blog candy present. Hope the random picker thingy picks me as I so wanted that stamp set for the snowflake blessing stamp! I love that stamp! The other goodies are pretty cool too I bet! I just focused in on the stamp!
Happy holidays to you and your family and all your blog readers!

Merry Christmas Susan! Our traditions have changed as our children live across the country from us. We hope to be there for Christmas next year. I will be cooking Christmas dinner for my elderly parents. Just thankful that I still have them. I am very thankful for my family and every chance to be with them is precious. All of this helps us to focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Thanks for your blog. I have learned some good things from you😎

In Christmas Eve we go to an aunt's house and Santa comes on the firetruck to deliver gifts. Now that my kids are 14 and 17 we still talk about what Santa might bring them LOL. Christmas day is filled with visiting grandparents who are luckily all local and enjoying lunch and dinner with lots of family. I just wish the day wouldn't go so fast! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas! We love to spend time together leading up to Christmas, a different holiday movie each night, and we will drive around tonight looking at the lights. Hope your Christmas is wonderful!

The whole family gathers at our house, being the largest, even if we have to blow up air mattresses and set up cots! Christmas morning we have tamales, pan dulce (Mexican pastry) and coffee and hot chocolate. Open presents, watch the grandkids play with toys. Later a big ham dinner.

Merry Christmas, Susan. Hope it's a wonderful day for you and your family. My favorite Christmas tradition is attending the Christmas Eve service at church.....first with my family growing up and now with my husband. Lighting the candles and singing "Silent Night" in the dark always gets to me. May 2016 bring you peace and good health.

Merry Christmas to you! We enjoy wrapping Christmas books we have collected over the years. We use them as an advent calendar and open and read one every night counting down to Christmas Day!

In our family we began the tradition of opening one package on Christmas Eve. When the kids were little, the package usually contained pajamas and a small special gift. Now it can be almost anything. Merry Christmas to you and to all!

Merry Christmas Susan. My favorite tradition is just to be with my family, but a close second is getting together with my girls before Christmas and spending the day making cookies. We always have so much fun together.

We always have had Christmas breakfast with my parents who live in our town. This year they are having Christmas with my brother in Boise. Time to create a new tradition!

Every Christmas Day, one of our 5 grandchildren reads the birth of Jesus from the Book of Luke before opening presents. We hope to instill in them the reason we celebrate Christmas. Blessings to you and yours, especially Eddie!

Merry Christmas Susan! You are so kind to share ideas with all of us. We always had a tradition of appetizers for dinner on Christmas Eve. Now our son is married and goes to his in-laws for Christmas Eve. It's always a moving target when the kids start getting married!

Merry Christmas Susan! My favorite memory and tradition is making homemade caramels with my Mom and Dad. Now that they are both gone I continue that tradition and my family loves them! Now that we are retired we spend the Christmas season with our children in AZ. Not the white Christmas's of the past in Ohio but when you are with family and the ones you love it doesn't matter. Big party here tonight and then midnight Mass!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight.
