Good Thursday! It is time for a Pals Paper Art Challenge and today is a sketch Challenge that the super talented Kerry Willard Bray came up with! I love it as it is super simple and straight forward! HINT-HINT....for those of you that have been missing my personal Monday challenges..how about trying this one today!
Here you go...fun - right?
Confession time again....the sentiment came from the stamp set Guy Greetings Stamp Set. I was on the fence about this stamp set as I was waiting to see if it was being carried over and once I saw that it was....BINGO - I made the investment as it is a great masculine stamp set...(Something that we do not seem to have to many of)
I should have known better as Stampin' Up! has this stamp set in all 3 mounts! I personally prefer the photopolymer as it is a cinch to see through but I know that we all have our own personal preferences.
I do not think that you need me to figure out this card...but the layout is a keeper and I would "file it in you memory bank"...you can see that this is a super quick card with minimal product.
Do you see something new? The cute border that I stamped on either side of the sentiment is a sneak peak from a new stamp set called, Bohemian Borders. I have blogged before that do not underestimate the fun and wow a simple border can make. Not only are thy great "fillers" - they are super easy.
The Maritime DSP was the fun for the day and remember it is on the weekly deals this week - this is a simply classic pack of paper with just amazing patterns and colors.
I added some fun on the front of the envelope and it was super easy to do, no Stamp-a-ma-jig necessary as I could see right through the stamps...and presto - a fun envelope front!
I am sure that whomever receives this would have no clue what was inside...this would be a great card to thank someone....for a great friend -
Please pop over to the Pals Paper Art site to see what the other designers came up with and then go to it...take the challenge and have fun...if you do not have the hexagon punch, no worries - just make a substitution of a circle of square.
Thanks for popping in, please share my blog and stampin' fun with your family and friends and do not forget that if you are placing an order, please use the hostess code of K3VX2TKD. This code is good through May 31st and one person will be able to reap the benefits!
Enjoy this day...and until tomorrow!
Great card - Love the nautical theme and your special touches!

What a great masculine card and use of DSP! Definitely going to CASE this for a male bday coming up and I can see the possibilities for a feminine card with a change up of paper! Thanks, Susan!

Shiver me timbers, this is one cute card! Whatever, today I am just plain old tired. Love the card. The stitching on the hexagon shapes remind me sort of roping with boats and such. I love that new border stamp - perfect on here. This card was made for that DP as well! Then, that envelope is so cute. What a smile this brought out with the sunny day we are having! Great job as always!
