Happy Thursday to all and today is another PPA Challenge. This week is my favorite as it is a color challenge. Here is the palette that you can work with and have fun! I had no idea where I was going to go with this but I looked at my DSP Swatches to be my guide!
Please do not be afraid of DSP...as DSP is your friend...and also helps you develop a style! The paper that my inspiration came from is Lullaby Designer Series Paper. I often look at DSP to guide me with how I want a card to "come together"
Today's card is a good old A-2 card but I cut 1" off the bottom to change it up a bit. I forget about doing this but I knew that this sentiment would be perfect to stamp across the bottom! The Fabulous Four Stamp Set is a keeper and it worked perfectly with today's card.
The other star of the day is the Bouquet Bigz L Die...I know that these are a bit $$$ but when you think if how you can use them over and over again...they are keepers!
I can honestly say that there are very few Dies that are retired that I do not keep. WHY??? Because I find that "dies" always have a little special touch to them that can really step up a card. This die was introduced in the Occasions catalog.
To add the fun and finale to the envelope - easy-peasy (thanks to our DSP)...a quick covering of the back flap works every time!
I hope that you have fun playing with these colors...and I hope that you will submit you work of art to the Pals Paper Art Challenge, (If you need help - please email me) and I will be happy to help!
Please come back tomorrow...we have LOTS to talk about the NEW In Colors! My order is coming today and I am super excited to play!
Exciting times with Stampin' Up....I am doing the Happy Dance!
How pretty these colors look together! Your card is simple, sweet and perfect and I love the way you cut the bottom off and incorporated the message. Another great idea!

You and I are starting to think alike! Or maybe you are "rubbing off" on me -- you'll see what I mean when you see my PPA entry!! I love to use the DSP too. A BIG congratulations on earning the Grand Vacation. What a tremendous accomplishment!

What fun! I love how you used the flower piece to stand alone as a focal point. Very clever! Love the colors too.

Cute, Susan! Love this idea for using that die and the way you cut the card off to stamp the sentiment.
