WOOT-WOOT...we did it - It is the 1st day of Spring...I say YIPPEE-SKIPPEE!!! I am trying to be positive and honor what the calendar says BUT...as I typed this last evening, that darn weatherman said that we were to 3 inches of snow and then tomorrow it is going to be 60 degrees! CRAZY!
Today's card is a fun SPRING card that I will be sending to anyone that has or places an order with me during the month of March. I will send you the instructions as well as this super cute and cheerful card!
I am doing the Spring "Happy Dance" and heading to see my Hannah for the weekend. I am sure that the further I go south the weather will be better and better!
What better way to WELCOME SPRING than with some BLOG CANDY! It's been a while since I have offered candy to you so let's get the comments rolling and you will have (3) chances to win...you can leave me a comment for the next (3) days and each day I will be adding more to the "LOOT OF SPRING CANDY"
On Monday. I will announce the winner so make sure you pop back over the weekend and I will ask you another question to comment to - I just love to see your comments and I think that we all love to read others as well!
Enjoy the parade of pictures of this 4 1/4" square card....I love the colors of Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and So Saffron together!
So....today, please leave me a comment and let me know what is your favorite thing about Spring? Mine is to see the total transformation of everything being so "brown and dormant" to all of a sudden....green grass, the chirping of birds and the buds on the trees - it just makes me feel so happy and alive!
Each day I will be adding another layer to this candy....today is the fabulous Stamp Set of the Lotus Blosom. I think by the time Sunday rolls around, you will be really, really hoping that you win the Spring Time Blog Candy!
Today's card focuses on bits from (2) different stamp sets....the one is the Petal Potpourri and it comes in a bundle with the matching fabulous punch - no fussing cutting here and the 2nd is Build a Bouquet Stamp Set (love the sentiments and whimsical flower images!
The below is the stamp set that the sweet sentiment is from - it is called Build A Bouquet Photopolymer Stamp Set. You could simply put a multitude of different sentiments....and naturally change up the colors of the flowers for a total different look!
I like you to USE what SPEAKS to YOU and never feel that you need to have everything...as it is simple - You do not!
To me, this card is a great way to welcome in Spring. Not only do I love square cards...I love the fact that we can always make out own envelopes to make our projects perfectly finished!
Now to the Blog Candy....here you go guys - a super popular stamp set and (2) spools of bakers twine - I bet there are a bunch of you that can put this to great use!

I love seeing the daffodils, tulips and the trees bloom and the grass getting green again. Having more sunshine and the days getting longer each day are an encouragement to me as well. Thanks for the chance to win your great blog candy. I appreciate you!

I love seeing new life, baby lambs, chicks, ducks, calves, along with the new flowers and trees budding knowing that life continues on and soon the days will be warmer and longer.

Hi Susan, I love to see the garden centers filled with spring flowers for planting. In my area it is usually pansies and I LOVE pansies. However, I will have to wait for the snow to pass today before planting them. Enjoy your visit with Hannah and the warmer South.

my favorite things about SPRING no more winter clothing, the sounds and smell of rainfall, and folks getting outside and chatter with my neighbors
Posted by: Bobbie | March 20, 2015 at 05:10 AM
I love the fresh spring color MUCH better than the gloomy gray. :)

I love the "smell" of spring ... fresh dirt, green grass springing from the long winter blanket of snow, every color imaginable blossoming from the neutral color of winter, bring me spring!!

I love everything about Spring...the fresh smells, the flowers, being able to go on long walks or bike rides. Your card is absolutely stunning, Susan! I want the Build A Boquet stamp set so bad because of the two sayings but can't justify the cost since I don't know whether or not I'd use the other stamps. Have a wonderful time with Hannah. Glad your ankle is doing well enough to run around!

Flowering trees, tulips, daffodils and crocus popping their heads out of the earth, grass finally turning shamrock green and finally being able to wash the snow, salt and gravel out of the garage are just a few of my favorite things!

Easter approaching, more daylight, getting outside in the fresh air and turning off the furnace!!

Warm air, blooming flowers, Easter. Love your card! Love the stamp sets.

WOW!! Susan, awesome blog candy, thank you for the chance to win. My favorite part of Spring is to, once again, see my bulbs and roses and hydrangeas blooming after weeks and weeks of being covered in tons of snow and ice. I also love to see the grass waking up, warmer temps and longer day light.
Happy Spring to all of you!!!

Aside from the warm weather and all the beautiful colors all around, I love that spring means the end of the school year is near and that I'll soon have time to stamp!

living in Florida I get to see green and flowers all the time. So for me it is always nice knowing our influx of birds that come for winter are heading home to chirp in your yard. When our winter is gone things quiet down!

It is the fresh air and open windows that make Spring welcome - although here in Maryland I woke up to it snowing today and expecting a few inches. I hope the Spring warm weather sticks around after the snow is gone. Thanks for your blog-love it!

I really like your card! The colors go together so nicely and I love that new flower stamp and punch.
What I like best about spring is seeing the daffodils and tulips blooming. Here in France, the additional light is really nice, too. The light is much more significantly different during the winter here than it is where we live in NC.
Have a safe and fun trip!
Cyberhugs!

My favorite part of spring is seeing the grass turn such a brilliant shade of green, even though it also means lots of mowing for me!!Daffodils peeking up thru the ground also!!

Love the card and the colors together scream Spring! Besides the fresh smells, chirping birds and cheerful flowers, I love Spring because my anniversary is in April (38 years) and my three children were born in April and May. My family is my joy and just thinking of them puts me in a happy place! Have a wonderful visit with your daughter, Susan!

My favorite part of Spring is the sunshine. We have had so much snow and bad weather I am so over it. Bring on the Sunshine.

I love seeing all the beautiful flowers bloom and the trees come alive with their pretty leaves and the flowers on the flowering trees. Your card is lovely.

Love your card and So Saffron is my all time favorite color....it really goes with every color...bold or pastels.
This time of year is so fun....I think I love walking through the home improvements stores and looking at all the colors of flowers....seems like anything goes...gerbera daisies are my fav this year and they come in so many beautiful colors.

Love seeing the many shades of new tender, green leaves on the trees and shrubs. Have a great time with Hannah and take care of that foot.

Spring signifies new beginnings. I love the bright and cheerful colors. Your card today is beautiful and makes me smile with happy thoughts.

Susan my favorites are the flowering trees. The Red Buds and the Bradford Pears are a riot of color here. I wish they could stay like that all year long!

My favorite thing is the flowers! I live in Charleston South Carolina, and when the azaleas bloom they are gorgeous! All shades of pink to some red, and lovely white ones too. All set against the greens of some huge pines. There are all sorts of flowering trees and shrubs! And lollies of all colors, and camellias (I'm not sure of the spelling) but oh the heavenly smells. Then the beautiful lavender to purple of wisteria claims the trees for a bit. The colors and scents of spring here are luscious. Even tho I have pollen issues, I love spring in Charleston.
